About me
I have been a registered nurse for over 16 years working with patients dealing with heart, lung, kidney, stomach, mental health, and health insurance issues. I’ve been with my patients when they received a life-changing diagnosis and I held their hand as they grieved.
I am a granddaughter, a daughter, a sister, a mother, and a friend. I have been on the giving and receiving side of our healthcare system. I have felt powerless and lost as I watched my loved ones being tossed around from doctor to doctor with no real communication or answers. I have felt frustrated with being forced to step in and be their nurse instead of soaking up their presence and being in the moment with them, of their last years, months, days, and hours.
I built Health Navigation so you don’t have to choose between being in the moment with your family or acting as their nurse to navigate the complexities of our healthcare system.
